JamCam is a community-powered traffic intelligence platform designed to help travellers crossing between Singapore and Malaysia make faster, smarter, and more informed decisions. Focused on the two busiest land checkpoints β Woodlands Causeway and Tuas Second Link β JamCam brings together live traffic camera feeds, checkpoint wait time guidance, and real-time traveller updates in one place. Cross-border travel can be unpredictable. Traffic conditions can change rapidly depending on the time of day, day of the week, public holidays, weather, road incidents, immigration processing speed, and sudden surges in traveller volume. JamCam was built to reduce that uncertainty by giving users a clearer picture of what is happening at the checkpoints before they leave home, start their journey, or decide which route to take. Whether you are a daily commuter, a weekend traveller heading to Johor Bahru, a family returning to Singapore after a short trip, or a delivery driver trying to avoid unnecessary delays, JamCam helps you stay informed with both live checkpoint visibility and community-powered travel updates.
Wait time estimates are based on historical traffic patterns from LTA DataMall data, including: peak hour patterns (7-9am and 5-8pm), weekend travel trends (Friday evenings to JB, Sunday evenings to Singapore), and public holiday schedules. These estimates update every 2 minutes with the latest camera feeds.
Our Commuter Reports section allows users to share real-time incidents, jam updates, and tips with fellow travellers. This crowd-sourced information adds an extra layer of situational awareness beyond the camera feeds.
All camera images are provided directly by the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) DataMall, the official government source for traffic information. Maps are provided by OneMap Singapore. We do not store any camera images; they stream live from LTA servers.
As frequent cross-border travellers ourselves, we experienced the frustration of unpredictable wait times. JamCam was created to provide transparent, real-time information to help thousands of daily commuters save time and reduce stress at the checkpoints.
JamCam was created by a Singapore-based developer and daily commuter who understands the challenges of cross-border travel. The site is maintained independently with the goal of helping fellow travellers make informed crossing decisions.
